Upcoming Events for Minudie

There will be a barbecue, bake table and yard sale at the River Hebert Co-Op on Saturday, August 7th from 11am to 2pm. Proceeds for the Minudie Heritage Association and King Seaman Church. Call 251-2422 to arrange collection of yard sale items.

The Blessing of the Crops Festival will be held in Minudie on Sunday, August 8th. The mass begins at 2pm at St. Denis Church followed by a reception at St. Thomas Aquinas Church Hall, Joggins. Then back to St. Denis for an evening concert at 6pm that features the Arsenault Family from Dieppe. For more information contact Sharon Gould at 667-3923.

Malagash Salt Mine Museum Supper

The Malagash Salt Mine Museum is having a Supper on Saturday July 31, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00p.m., at the Malagash Community Hall. Casseroles, beans, salads, homemade rolls, bread and pies. Adults, $8.00, Under 12, $4.00, Preschoolers, Free. Proceeds for the Salt Mine Museum.

A Sketchbook-Making and Drawing Extravaganza!

Drop-in to the Owens between 11am and 1pm on Saturday, July 17th to make your very own sketchbook. Find inspiration for drawing in the galleries or head outside and see what catches your eye - buildings, flowers, birds flying by - you never know where your pencil might lead you.

For kids, teens, moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandpas, grandmas, and other friends.
