This two-day intensive certified training event is a must for all heritage and natural site interpreters. Topics covered include:
- Interpretive Principles and Planning
 - Definition of Interpretation
 - The Principles on which Interpretation is based
 - Audience-based Interpretation
 - Theme Statements
 - Objectives and Outcomes
 - Program Planning: the steps
 - Structuring Programs
 - Review and Helpful Hints
 
TheInstructor will be Peter Pacey. Peter is a heritage interpreter and trainer, as well as a theatre producer and performer with 30 years experience. He sits on the Board of Interpretation Canada National and writes a regular column in InterpScan. The cost is only $110 per person for the two days, inclusive of refreshments, lunch, course materials and certification. Registration is now open. places are limited to 25.
